About My Clients

Maybe you're feeling stuck—held back by past experiences, negative self beliefs, or patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe relationships feel difficult, emotions feel overwhelming, or you’re struggling to understand yourself. You’re looking for a space where you can unpack and process, where healing feels possible, and where you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing you down, untangle the stories that have shaped you, and work toward a more authentic life.

My Background and Approach

I have worked in diverse settings, providing support to children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those from marginalized communities impacted by systemic barriers. Being of mixed ethnicity, I have come to deeply resonate with clients experiencing difficulties with identity and connection to self, others and the world. I practice from an anti-oppressive, non-pathological, trauma-informed lens. I am committed to creating an inclusive, identity-affirming space where you feel safe to explore and embrace all parts of yourself. I especially enjoy working with those looking to gain insight into how their past experiences have influenced their present. EMDR is central to my practice but I also provide more traditional talk therapy integrating systems and attachment theories, somatic work, and mindfulness and self-compassionate practices.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we all have intrinsic healing processes that become stuck due to a number of circumstances and if we can just work to clear some of those barriers, our systems will do the rest. I believe clients are the experts on their lives and that my role is to accompany you on your healing journey offering guidance and support. I also believe that our individual well-being is in inextricable from the systems we exist within and it would be a disservice not to acknowledge the impact our environments have on us within the therapeutic work. I have a strong commitment to social justice and working with marginalized communities. I continue to navigate my own place in power dynamics and systems of oppression to continue to grow and live in alignment with my Social Work values.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
