If you're on the lookout for some answers about neurodiversity, trying to make sense of your experiences, or just need someone to share the journey with, count me in. We'll team up to find your path to feeling more like you, empowered, unmasked and moving towards a life of greater self-acceptance. I do my best work with individuals who are motivated and ready to engage in therapy.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health, residential treatment, school based social work, treatment foster care and private practice. I enjoy working with people of all ages. When working with kids and teens, I focus on the goals of individuals in front of me. I absolutely love working with parents who are active participants in their child's treatment, are open to feedback and willing to make changes to better support their kids at home. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy and work with clients to find interventions that will work best for achieving specific goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Finding a therapist can be an exhausting and overwhelming process, especially when you are differently wired and chronically tired. Living in the chaos that is life in 2024, many of us are desperately trying to keep our head above water. I believe that therapy is just one of many options that we have to help improve our overall wellbeing. I strongly advocate for the transformative power of collective healing, rooted in a core belief: enduring the heavy load of mental burdens alone is unsustainable. When I am not working as a therapist, you can find me dancing with my dog, learning about plants and spending time with the people I love. If I were not a therapist, I believe I would be an activist as I am unapologetically loud about systemic issues that cause harm to marginalized populations and our planet.
