Disordered eating and negative body image can stem from a variety of components throughout one's life. Through therapy, you can understand your feelings and behaviors contributing to an unhealthy relationship with food, or negative self-perception. Intrusive, obsessive thoughts, rumination, "checking", or compulsive behaviors can present in many different ways. Oftentimes, OCD is misdiagnosed as Generalized Anxiety which can make treatment ineffective. Our experienced therapists can help clients to understand, reduce, and manage the symptoms and presentation of OCD through a variety of techniques, non-judgment, and unconditional support.
