About My Clients
I work with individuals who feel alone, rejected, or disconnected, often struggling to uncover their sense of belonging. Many of the people I see carry pain that has been overlooked or invalidated, leaving them feeling unseen and unsupported. My goal is to provide a compassionate, steady presence, walking alongside you on your journey toward healing. Together, we’ll confront the parts of your story that feel difficult to face alone, process your pain, and move toward a deeper sense of connection
My Background and Approach
Davis is a licensed psychologist and native Hawaiian dedicated to creating an affirming, trauma-informed space where clients feel seen and valued. His doctoral research focused on culturally-congruent care, exploring mental health stigma, racism, spirituality, and well-being among Indigenous populations. Davis brings a deep understanding of multicultural factors to his work with clients of diverse identities and backgrounds, affirming treatment for diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, and therapy for specific mental health conditions including PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and OCD. Using an integrative approach that includes multicultural counseling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy, and compassion-focused treatment, Davis helps clients build self-insight, manage challenging emotions, and embrace personal growth.
