About My Clients
Along with my focus on eating disorders, compulsive exercise, and/or body image, I also enjoy working with individuals and couples of all identities on unlearning perfectionism, exploring gender and sexuality, finding meaning, disability, spirituality, and navigating anxiety and/or OCD. My clients are often motivated and needing extra support, and interested in developing more softness toward themselves. Many of my clients are new to exploring their relationship with food and their bodies.
My Background and Approach
My practice is informed by parts work, attachment theory, and relational therapy. I work from an anti-diet, disability justice, and fat justice lens. My approach is holistic, meaning I view therapy as an opportunity to deepen connection with your body, spirit, and community at large I utilize skills and experiential tools that are individualized to fit your needs. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in eating disorder advocacy and am passionate about increasing access to care. Please note, I offer both insurance-based and private pay spots. Please visit my website's "insurance and rates" page to explore which option makes the most sense for you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as many things outside of being a therapist: Jewish, white, trans, an animal lover, and holding thin privilege. I am committed to continued learning around my identity as it relates to others. I live on stolen Dakota land, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
