My Background and Approach
Lydia's therapeutic approach combines various modalities, including motivational interviewing, trauma-focused CBT, person-centered therapy, and internal family systems. By drawing from these methodologies, she tailors sessions to meet the specific needs of individuals, pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. She approaches all modalities with a trauma informed lens.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Lydia firmly believes in empowering individuals to advocate for their needs, especially in a world that often overlooks and dismisses their unique requirements. Lydia hopes to help clients build a sense of confidence that enables them to assertively address their needs and find their voice in the face of adversity. Lydia's goal as a therapist is ultimately to provide compassionate guidance and assist clients in achieving personal growth and well-being.
