About My Clients
My clients are people looking for inclusive, HAES/weight inclusive- informed, queer-affirming, passionate but informed care. My clients are people who need someone to guide them through the struggles of healing relationships with their bodies, food, sexuality, families, gender expression, and many other things, while also understanding the layers that gender, weight, sexuality, race, and other cultural factors add to the therapeutic relationship and the treatment process.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in eating disorders, body dysmorphia, gender dysphoria, trauma, PCOS, addiction, and trauma. Many times, these diagnoses are combined into one person just trying to figure out a way to "feel normal" in their day-to-day life. I have worked at the highest levels of care with the highest acuity of symptoms (inpatient and residential) to the lowest levels of care. I am aware that I am not just treating a person but the systems they come from and live-in currently and I do my best to support the transition from session to the real world. I use many modalities, depending on what the client needs; but I am a direct and passionate therapist. I am qualified and experienced in working with transgender people of all ages throughout their transitioning process. I have worked with all ages, couples, and families, and most diagnoses at every possible level of care for over a decade. I would describe myself as passionate, inclusive, direct, and empathetic.

I am deeply educated and informed in Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. I am an anti-diet culture therapist with a specialty in helping people with PCOS. I am rooted in 12-step and well-versed in addiction recovery
