Often people I work with are seeking more peace, empowerment, and healthier relationships with others and with themselves. My clients tend to be badass, kind, and maybe not know it! They are, or aspiring to be: generational cycle breakers, healing attachment wounds, or seeking alignment with one's values. Are you curious about building insight or ways to self/collectively care? Perhaps we're a fit if you're seeking a therapist who believes and works from a feminist liberation approach, has experience working towards building healthy familial dynamics, and integrates a whole-person & holistic approach to care.
I help people who feel anxiety and stress in relationships to feel less anxious. I know that the worry, frustration and confusion that we feel with those we care most about can feel overwhelming and can make thriving or just getting through the day much more difficult. It can also lead to unhelpful patterns with ourselves and others. Anxiety in relationships can be a real burden and I don't want you to suffer. Together we will work to get your satisfaction in relationships back.
Are you stressed about eating or thinking about food too much? I provide therapy for teens and adults across the full spectrum of disordered eating. Difficulties with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma and/or life transitions can be related to trouble with eating and body image. I work to understand how these experiences interact for each individual, tailoring therapy to fit their unique needs and strengths. My approach is weight-inclusive and queer-affirming.
I serve adults and youth of all ages. I especially enjoy working with people who identify as: BIPOC &/or mixed-race; queer &/or of marginalized genders; highly sensitive people, introverts, deep feelers; creatives & artists. I find my style is well suited to support clients with: anxiety, codependency, relationship dynamics, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, identity exploration, strong inner critics, perfectionism, burnout & sustainability, building connection to authentic self.
Whether you’ve been in therapy before or it’s your first time, it’s hard to be vulnerable and to give voice to that which brings us discomfort, pain or shame. And, therapy can be incredibly rewarding. Creating meaning out of our experiences is a powerful and transformative process, one I am honored to walk through with my clients.

Welcome! I’m Terra, a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I help couples improve communication, rebuild connection, and better understand each other in a warm, judgment-free space.
I specialize in working with queer and trans youth and adults who want to increase their sense of rootedness and agency in order to live vibrantly. I commit to providing an affirming space for your full self to show up so we can partner in the important work of healing.
I particularly enjoy working with people who are navigating difficult interpersonal relationships (with family members, partners, spouses, etc.) or are in the midst of healing from heartbreak, grief or loss. I also have extensive personal and professional experience with chronic pain/illness and have deep regard for the experiencers and caregivers dealing with the challenges that accompany. I also love working with clients who are looking to decrease symptoms of anxiety or panic.
You get home from work and had every intention to cook dinner and go for a walk but you're exhausted so you end up on the couch scrolling. And then you stay up too late, trying to gain back some precious hours for yourself, you've been giving to everyone else all day, you deserve it! But then, it all starts over again. Exhausted in the morning. Over committed, saying yes to things you don't want to do, not feeling nourished by your relationships. You're ready for a change.
You are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, unfulfilled. Maybe your relationship feels like it is crashing and burning. Or maybe you feel like you friend circle has shrunk or that you are the last person standing with no romantic prospects. Maybe you are a parent just trying to get through the day. You have lost motivation, direction, and a sense of purpose. You are not sure when it started but you do not feel the same. Maybe you just feel alone and the voice in your head is saying “what is wrong?”

Most of us experience anxiety at some point in our lives. It becomes a problem when we get so stuck in this feeling we have a hard time seeing things for what they really are. Maybe you are feeling anxiety physically, or you are noticing it by where your mind trails off to. On paper, you may look like you are doing well, but underneath it all, things are falling apart. With anxiety and any other emotional concern you may have, I like to look deeper at what’s going on underneath it.
I work with couples, adults, and teens who are LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC folks. Some themes I love working with include grief, relationships, life transitions, boundaries, anxiety, and depression. Integration of altered states of consciousness, exploration of intersectional identities and intergenerational trauma are also common themes in my practice. I have a passion for helping folks get in touch with their inner knowing & becoming their fullest and most authentic selves.
