I work with busy couples who are stuck in a cycle of miscommunication and disconnection that they don't know how to get out of. Many of my clients come to therapy at a time when career and family needs are pulling them away from being able to focus on their relationship. We start from the position that keeping a relationship strong requires work -- but the RIGHT kind of work. Week by week, topic by topic, we talk through stuckness and get to resolution.

Healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face it alone. I create a brave, supportive space to help you heal and grow. We’ll work together to process trauma, soothe anxiety, lift depression, and improve relationships, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and those who matter most. Together, we’ll untangle feelings of stuckness or pain in a way that leads to relief, clarity, and more fulfilling connections in your life.
I tend to attract clients who are experiencing anxious thoughts and rumination, cycles of addiction, or codependent relationships. These struggles are often ways we seek to meet our needs for comfort, connection, or stability, even if they don't always provide the lasting fulfillment we're looking for. It’s natural to seek comfort and connection in ways that feel familiar, and with understanding and support, we can uncover other ways to tend to those parts of you that long to be seen and met.
Have you previously undergone therapy, but didn’t get the results you wanted? Are you a pragmatic person who values an approach that establishes well-defined objectives and delivers tangible outcomes? Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a potent form of therapy that empowers you the client to directly transform emotions and behaviors. The greatest advantage of IFS therapy is its establishment of clear, measurable goals right from the start. Which allows you to observe the progress you make.
My clients come to therapy for a wide variety of reasons. Many struggle with depression, anxiety, or past trauma. Others require assistance through difficult circumstances, such as relationship issues, life transitions, grief, and work or academic stress. Others feel lost and unsure of where to go next in life. All of them want relief, and all of them wish to be understood. I strive to help them in an understanding and compassionate way.
I am passionate about working with: People of Color; Trans, non-binary, and genderqueer individuals, and their partners and families; Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Queer folks; Polyamorous and non-monogamous individuals, couples, families and other relationship configurations; Activists and organizers involved in social justice movements and struggles for liberation; and especially, people at the intersections of these categories.

You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, disconnected from yourself or others, or weighed down by past experiences. You seek deeper awareness, relief from emotional burdens, and a greater sense of connection and ease. Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, or identity exploration, therapy can be a space to process, integrate, and reclaim what has felt lost or out of reach.
Whether your struggle runs deep or is an interim situation, together we can create possibilities for you to manifest a life you love with the life you have. With support, you can rewrite your story as you embark on your inner quest of becoming more of who you really are. Our purpose together will be to make meaning out of your experiences, as well as highlight opportunities for symptom relief, expansion, and healing.
Many of my clients are facing a crossroads when they begin therapy - embarking on parenthood, rethinking career choices; both craving and dreading a change. They are often struggling with anxiety in its many forms - panic, OCD, perfectionism, phobias, avoidance, etc. I also offer neurodiversity-affirming psychological assessments for adults exploring possible diagnoses or seeking better understanding of their emotional functioning and neurotype strengths and challenges.
You're looking for someone who will be straight with you. You like to be educated about psychological concepts to understand and support your growth and healing inside and outside of sessions. You want someone who sees your uniqueness and helps you dissipate the shame with ways you may feel insecure or inadequate. You want your therapist to be a real person with you in session, someone who shares stories about their own experience in life if it helps you grow.
My clients typically feel like they are “too much”, their emotions are “too big”, and they are “too sensitive”. I invite clients to shift their thinking, and believe they are “enough” through a variety of approaches (see “my approach”). My clients are usually seeking treatment in order to increase their ability to “swim in the sea of emotions”, improve relationships with loved ones, and improve executive functioning skills (such as time management, accomplishing their to-do-list, ect).

Anxiety can present itself in many ways—from persistent worry and uncontrollable fear to physical symptoms like a racing heart, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. When anxiety becomes disordered, it can make daily responsibilities and social interactions incredibly challenging. When trapped in cycles of doubt and uncertainty, it is difficult to see a way forward. I provide a judgment-free environment where you'll receive support through compassionate insight and thoughtful guidance.
I love working with Queer and Trans folks who feel things deeply and intuitively, are curious about spirituality, who are social justice oriented, and who feel a calling to bring their gifts and offerings into this world! I also specialize in supporting folx who are seeking deeper healing of trauma and oppression. I offer limited sliding scale spots for LGBTTSQIA activists, chronically ill/disabled folx, and BIPOC.
I provide an integrative approach that is warm, engaged, collaborative, strength-based and trauma-informed to support you in getting to where you want to be. While I specialize in working with queer & trans adolescents, individuals, and couples—I love working with all kinds of people from diverse backgrounds, ages, sexualities, and relationship styles.
You’ve survived a complicated childhood or past with minimal or inconsistent support, and remnants of your past influence or take over the present. It’s rare to feel safe / settled enough with others / out in the world. Cycles of heightened stress and shutting down keep you feeling stuck. You’re self-aware (perhaps even knowledgeable about your struggles), but need support taking actionable steps towards deep / lasting transformation and healing. Sound familiar? Specialized help is available!
I am passionate about providing a space for people to be celebrated for being their authentic selves. I honor and respect the strategies clients have learned that support them in coping and surviving. Together, we can develop more awareness of how these coping strategies and patterns serve you, and when it is supportive, work to find new ways of relating with yourself and others.

Life in the Bay Area is challenging and the additional stress that sometimes accompanies being LGBTQ+, a parent, or both can push it over the edge. High levels of stress can interfere with relationships, parenting, work, self-care and health. Therapy can support you in cultivating a sense of well-being and balance in your life as well as help you overcome specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and addictive behaviors.
You’ve got the degrees, the career, the ambition—and maybe even the family. But something still feels off. You’re tired of carrying it all, tired of repeating old patterns, and tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re not. If you’re a high-achieving woman trying to reconnect, you're in the right place. I help women who want more than just coping—they want transformation. You may be navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, identity shifts, or intergenerational trauma.
