You may be keeping it together on the outside—getting good grades or promotions, making friends, remembering to feed your cat—but underneath, you’re wondering why everything feels so much harder for you than it seems to be for everyone else. Maybe you’re processing a new diagnosis, questioning your identity, or feeling overwhelmed by life changes. You’re looking for someone who understands that thinking differently isn’t something to cure or fix—it’s something to embrace.
Compassionate clinical support is what Purposed By Design strives to provide all clients. Confidential counseling services are provided for individuals, couples, and adolescents to support those who have experienced complex trauma, abuse, family disruption, grief, and loss resulting in challenging life adjustments. I am available to help support you on your healing journey. Aren't you ready for a beautiful new beginning?

I enjoy working with clients of all ages who hold multiple minority identities and are seeking identity development, trauma therapy, or parent training. Many of my clients have jokingly described me as a "process consultant" and "professional poker". I can treat a range of mental health concerns but highly enjoy serving the local LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community. I have experience writing letters in support of gender-affirming medical interventions (e.g., hormone treatment and surgery).
