I aim to empower my clients to examine themselves and their environments, develop healthier relationships and coping mechanisms, build resilience, and embrace their identities fully, while addressing the emotional and psychological factors that contribute to their struggles.
I have a special interest in working with individuals from late adolescence through adulthood who may be struggling with patterns of codependency in relationships, trauma, anxiety and attachment issue. I have a keen understanding of how our earliest relationships and experiences impact our adult-selves and I support my clients in gaining a deeper, more compassionate understanding of their journey. By integrating those early experiences, old cycles are able to change and healing becomes possible.
Have you experienced therapy as a good place to vent your feelings but do you continue to feel stuck on the "how" to move forward? I've heard this from more than just a few clients. In the therapy space we create I'll help you find ways to get past the venting stage and into moving forward. This is not a linear process but I will be with you through every step of the way.
I work with individuals seeking relief from trauma, anxiety, and long-standing emotional patterns. I use EMDR to help clients process unresolved experiences, and I offer music therapy as a creative, non-verbal way to support healing and regulation. Many of my clients are highly sensitive, thoughtful, or emotionally attuned, yet find themselves feeling stuck. I provide a grounded, collaborative space where we can work at a pace that supports safety, clarity, and lasting change.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Your story is important. Whatever you've experienced, your story deserves to be heard. Dialectically, there is power in that story, and there are times when it can impact internal beliefs and how we experience life. I believe we are unique in our range and intensity of emotions. Sometimes emotions get big and make us act in ways we didn't intend to or know ourselves to be. Sometimes we were never taught the skills to cope, or we can't access skills in the moment.
At Resilience Lab my clinical work is focused on caring for caregivers. They might be first-time parents, overstretched teachers, or anyone who puts significant time and energy toward caring for those in need. It’s a tough job that can feel isolating and invisible. Some common challenges my clients overcome include people-pleasing, burnout, and weak boundaries.
Do you ever find yourself excessively ruminating, "beating yourself up," or feeling trapped in those "worst case scenarios"? Do you talk to yourself in ways you would never talk to a friend? I'm here to help you take the first step in challenging those self-critical cycles. Together, we can start the journey of cultivating self-love and acceptance.
Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, grief, loss, or striving for emotional regulation. My clients often face challenges related to identity and belonging. They may feel misunderstood or marginalized due to their queer, creative, or unconventional lifestyles. Many are grappling with anxiety and stress stemming from a chaotic climate future and uncertain political landscape. They might also experience a sense of existential uncertainty, questioning meaning and purpose in life.
Everyone gets stuck sometimes, and everyone can benefit from learning more about themselves. That is why I strive to empower people to develop goals, identify potential barriers, and explore strategies to pursue what is important to them. Whether you're looking for support to better manage stress, improve mood, process trauma, cope with anxiety, or improve overall wellness, I will meet you were you are, and we'll work to reduce your symptoms and help you live a live aligned with your values.

We’ve all been there, lying awake because our brain keeps running through that thing that happened 6 months ago, not quite able to find the solution that would allow us to just roll over and get enough rest to wake up and do it all over again. When your brain constantly worries about the future or gets stuck in reflections about the past, it's hard to enjoy (or even really notice) what’s happening right now.
Do you seek a deeper connection with your partner, or even yourself? It seems that as much as we want to stay connected, we inevitably disconnect. For myself, I know there are ways I have disconnected from my goals, my partner or even the needs of my own body. As a mind-body Relationship Specialist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I have learned many practices that can help you and/or your partner reconnect to what matters to you most, personally, relationally, emotionally and sexually.
I serve clients from all walks of life and stages of development who are dedicated to personal growth and authenticity by providing them with the appropriate support, coping mechanisms, and tools. My experience with multiple populations has helped me realize the importance of looking at an individual as a whole, rather than just focusing on a specific issue. The mental, physical, and social aspects of an individual are all equally important.
At Resilience Lab I work with young to middle aged adults from diverse backgrounds experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. It can be hard to find a therapist you feel comfortable with as you navigate these challenges. I’m dedicated to making sure you feel heard and understood.

Many of my clients struggle with anxiety and trauma and are open to approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I am also interested in working with clients who are dealing with gut health issues exacerbated by stress, trauma, and anxiety. I am happy to work with spiritual and religious minorities and people from any spiritual background (agnostics and atheists are welcome too). I also love working with LGBTQ clients by providing a safe space to affirm and explore related issues.
I'm happy to work with anyone who is willing to take this brave step towards nourishing their mental health! As a young, Asian-American woman, I have a special affinity towards working with this population and at the same time am excited by working with people of different backgrounds and cultures. I am very experienced in working with children and adolescents and love to help adolescents thrive through difficult transition periods of development.
My ideal clients are those seeking clarity and support as they navigate life’s challenges. They are eager to learn practical skills and understand how to apply them outside of therapy, as well as gain deeper insight into their behaviors and the mind-body connection. These clients value both empathy and honesty, appreciating a space where they can receive genuine support paired with transparent, constructive feedback.
I enjoy working with clients who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, motivation struggles, and self-esteem issues. Whether you’re new to therapy, returning after a break, or experienced in the process, I welcome you into this space. My clients are ready to challenge themselves and are committed to the work it takes to create lasting change, seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
