Our clients are the kind of folks who are ready to level up—not just their lives, but their relationships and their sense of self. They’re all about putting in the work, both in and out of sessions (yes, there’s homework, but it’s the good kind). They want a therapist who’s not just along for the ride, but right there in the trenches with them, working just as hard to create a safe, supportive space to grow.
I work with individuals 14+ who may need a little assistance sometimes. I believe we all come into this world on a blank canvas. I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, self esteem issues, self-harm/SI, and other issues that may be preventing them from living up to their potential.

Sometimes thoughts, memories, and moods are causing us distress. Often, when we try to express these to others, we are left feeling more confused about what we are feeling or misunderstood afterward. Sometimes words fail us, and we cannot find the right way to express ourselves and feel stuck. No one should have to face what they're going through alone. I am here to support you on your journey. I am sure I will learn just as much from you as you will from me along the way.
I combine evidence-based methods with a warm welcoming environment. What can you expect out of therapy? 1) Reducing symptoms: We’ll work together so you feel better as soon as possible. 2) Figuring out the root of your challenges: We’ll explore what caused you to feel this way in the first place. 3) Building your confidence going forward: You will learn and practice new skills that will help you feel confident overcoming future challenges.

My practice, Friendly Psychology, LLC, focuses on supporting those navigating finding their voice in a system that would rather they stay silent, including women, trans/nonbinary folks, and folks in queer and BIPOC communities. I was a university counseling center clinician for 13 years, and I still have a passion for working with students, as well as other adults experiencing transitions and periods of growth. I love exploring the intersection of internal identity and external relationships.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience working with clients of all ages. I enjoy working with children as young as 4, adolescents, college-age clients, and adults alike. I am equipped to help clients who are experiencing symptoms related to depression, anger, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, divorce, substance abuse, relationships, behavioral concerns, sexuality and gender exploration (LGBTQIA+), academic or school issues, and phase of life adjustment or transitions.
