Currently offering in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays, and teletherapy appointments on Thursdays. If you feel out of touch with your own life, if people say that you worry “too much,” if a particular event has taken away your sense of well-being, psychotherapy can be an excellent resource and activator for change. But it takes courage to recognize when your coping strategies are no longer working and to reach out for support.

I help clients navigate issues related to mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma and PTSD, and other major life stressors. I use an anti-oppressive lens and pay close attention to the way cultural and institutional factors impact your health. I believe that therapy is one part of a process toward connection and a sense of belonging with others.
I am passionate about working with teens, college and graduate students, parents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout, problems associated with autism, life transitions, difficulties managing emotions, stress management concerns, parenting concerns and relationship challenges. My approach empowers you to become an active participant in your treatment and ultimately make you your own therapist.
My ideal clients are teens and young adults that are ready to get to know themselves better, explore their relationships, attachment styles and understand why they are feeling the way they are. Working with me means we collaboratively create a warm, judgment free space where you feel empowered to express yourself. Getting to know yourself deeper, your attachment patterns, habits, and behaviors can help you understand what you have control over and how to live a more balanced life.
I have a special interest in serving survivors and victims of sexual traumas and abuse. In a culture where victim blaming runs rampant, when we talk and process our experiences the light is able to shine in and we as a society move closer to a world where survivors do not need to live in shame. I am also a trained Doula and love to work with the perinatal and postpartum community. I am especially interested in exploring traumatic birth stories and supporting this healing journey.
My ideal clients are those with issues of anxiety, depression, cultural adjustment, adjusting to college, strained family relationships (especially second-generation immigrants), health-related concerns or chronic illness, and those seeking a Mandarin-speaking counselor. I have worked with a wide variety of patients from different cultures and backgrounds, and I aim to empower my clients and work together through their challenges effectively.
