About My Clients
The clients I work with often have a vision of the life and relationships they want but are not sure how to get there. Maybe self doubt and feelings of hopelessness stand in the way. Or maybe issues from unresolved trauma. Or maybe they have difficulty accessing their authentic, grounded self. I will work with you to discover the barriers to living the life you want and having the healthy relationships that you deserve. We will work together to create a path towards healing.
My Background and Approach
The therapy I provide is experiential, evidence based, directive and collaborative. I approach my clients with warmth, compassion and curiosity. I am skilled at helping my clients heal from the past, recognize internal narratives that aren't serving them anymore, create new stories, find meaning, and learn to establish real connection with themselves and others. I have specialized training in working with trauma, dissociation, attachment struggles, and relationship issues. I have training in Internal Family Systems, DBT, Somatic experiencing, TF-CBT and CBT.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has what they need inside of them to heal and find balance in their internal and external lives. My job is to work as a guide to help you on your journey towards healing and creating the life you want.
