I hope to assist you in gaining insight about yourself in order to allow you to make choices that are in alignment with your values and goals. This will help you feel content and fulfilled in life, and reduce emotional suffering. I also will provide you with skills to manage distressing emotions.
My Background and Approach
I practice from a psychodynamic perspective and believe our early experiences as humans affect us, and find it helpful to gain insight about their impact on our current emotions and actions. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you accept and cope with the common emotions and experiences that are part of being human, but can lead to distress and impact your wellness.
