About My Clients
My clients are adults who experienced trauma primarily related to childhood, resulting in anxiety and PTSD. You want to live more authentically by identifying emotions and preventing past trauma from defining who you are today. With me, you're accepted, valued, heard, trusted, and can learn to trust.
My Background and Approach
I'm currently working toward my Doctorate in Health Sciences, earned my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary, and completed the Science of Well-Being from Yale University. I'm also formally trained in EMDR, CBT, CPT, and DPT. My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs, though I often work from a psychodynamic framework. I support you as you explore the emotions of the past and the challenges they cause today. During our initial sessions, we'll dig into the issues, identify emotions, and collaborate to create a plan for healing, and becoming more connected to yourself. Most of my clients see improvement after the first month, and continued improvement thereafter.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
