About My Clients
It is my hope to build a trusting and safe space that you may find as a resource in your life. It is my job to work in collaboration to gain an understanding of and honor how one's experience, culture, and environment play into current limiting beliefs. I am inspired to work with parents and have particularly found passion in working with parents healing from intergenerational trauma incorporating a spiritual holistic lens. I am certified in Usui Holy Fire reiki levels 1 & 2.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach emphasizes a practical attitude that offers results by offering Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Ego States Model, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) skills and principals from an attachment based lens. I offer education and resources to address core issues, practice skills to strengthen mindful emotional responses, promote mood management, and offer strategies to shift the way challenging memories can be stored in the brain. It is my priority to foster awareness and guidance thought processing past experiences that may inhibit growth to be able to show up for ourselves in a compassionate way. As well as expanding on each individuals intuitive self healing practices to build an inner sense of empowerment and advance towards thriving.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is one of my greatest joys in life to journey with my clients to gain a deeper understanding of oneself and work to gain a feeling of thriving in life as opposed to surviving. I truly believe in the underlying strength and ability of all humans to cultivate daily victories that foster growth and healing. I strive to embody a grounded presence that encourages one to feel respected, safe, supported, celebrated, and capable of tackling life's challenges. Being guided to offer therapy and working among the healing professions was fueled through my own personal journey. Meditation, a deeper connection to my spiritual self, and therapy allowed me to heal starting from within. I felt the benefits ripple out to those i'm in relationship with and recognized how much I love connecting with others on a similar journey in an authentic and vulnerable way. I have sat in the other side of the Therapy room and was inspired by some clinicians and saw gaps in what was being offered by others.
