About My Clients
Dr. Morrison specializes in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, work/life balance issues, trauma, grief, relational problems, gender identity issues, and adjustment problems. Additionally, she works with families and systems in developing and maintaining healthy boundaries, fostering cohesion, improving communication, reducing conflict, and building empathy.
My Background and Approach
As a child, adolescent, and adult therapist, Dr. Morrison uses a client-centered approach in conjunction with evidenced-based treatment modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Narrative Therapy, and Brief Supportive Therapy. Her experience in the public school system, community mental health, therapeutic day schools, and private practice, has provided her the framework for helping her clients manage intense negative emotions, cope with stress, develop healthy relationships, feel fulfilled in their profession, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and live a more balanced life.
