About My Clients
Whether you're seeking relief from personal pain, collective suffering and institutional oppression, rediscovering inner strengths, or finding a deeper connection to yourself and others, I am here to provide an affirming space for exploration of your individual subjective experience.
My Background and Approach
I practice from an anti-racist, intersectional, and social justice lens and approach. I have experience working with people of different racial and ethnic identities, sexuality and gender expressions and identities, physical and intellectual abilities, and class backgrounds. I work in solidarity with sex workers. I hold a special interest in trauma and resiliency work and working with immigrant, asylee, and refugee communities. I have extensive training in trauma recovery and PTSD, particularly around experiences of sexual/physical violence, torture, traumatic grief, intergenerational trauma, and displacement. I am trained in EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is often daunting to share one’s pain and suffering while remaining present and connected. Life can be hard, yet I believe we have an inherent and adaptive resiliency. I don’t pretend to know the answers, but together I hope to create a space of curiosity into your life experiences, your patterns, and your goals so that you can imagine a different future. I am queer and genderqueer; I use they/them pronouns. I am engaged in social justice movements.
