About My Clients
Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself and others? Do you put your needs at the bottom of the to-do list? Do you wonder if life should feel somehow better? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how they are supposed to manage their relationships, careers, and personal lives. Pushing away your needs and not taking time for yourself can lead to long-term issues for your mind and body. I believe your well-being should come first.
My Background and Approach
I am a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, working under the supervision of Meredith Mauzé, LMFT. I have clinical training skills in various diverse settings including clinic-based settings, group homes, and health/education centers in numerous countries around the world. I have worked with people of all ages including children, young adults, and seniors. I also have knowledge of working with clients who have suffered from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, PTSD, challenging life transitions, financial difficulties, and trauma. Other backgrounds I have worked with include neurodiversity, ADHD, LGBTIQA+, and polyamory. As a therapist, I create a safe, judgmental free environment for my clients to excel. I believe in guiding my clients in therapeutic modalities integrated from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and holistic approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Cultural sensitivity, spirituality, compassion, empathy, and motivation are part of my beliefs in a healthy mindset and self-care. I strive to bring joy and light to my surroundings, inside and outside of therapeutic settings. Kindness and sensitivity are strong principles I bring to my practice.
