I work one-on-one with adolescents and adults to address the daily stressors we face while also exploring where we might want to go in the future. By slowing down and taking the time to recognize our patterns, which ones we like and which one we dislike, we can begin to move towards creating the life that we want.
My Background and Approach
I believe in a collaborative and holistic approach where we create safe space for you to explore who you are and who you want to be. I work with individuals to address the daily stressors we face while also exploring where we might want to go in the future. By slowing down and taking the time to recognize our patterns, which ones we like and which one we dislike, we can begin to move towards creating the life that we want. My goal as a therapist is that you find a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. Life is full of uncertainty and together we can explore different ways to cope, find joy, and learn to thrive in an ever changing world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all have the potential for transformative change as long as we have a safe space and guidance. As a first generation immigrant women, I am very driven by intersectionality and how our different identities show up, interact with each other, and the impact that has on us as we navigate the world. Given that, I do not see myself as an expert in the room. Instead I view those I support as expert and allow them to lead the sessions. I often describe my role as being in the passenger seat of the car you are driving as you navigate your life.
