About My Clients
In my work with relationships and individuals, I love working with folks who are introspective and curious about how their ways of relating internally affect their daily life and external relationships. Many of my clients identify as belonging to marginalized communities, such as identifying as BIPOC, queer, nonmonogamous or polyamorous, or neurodivergent.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with college-age students and young adults. Using a collaborative approach, I work with clients to develop a shared understanding of the goals and preferred outcomes for therapy. I draw on many theories including cognitive-behavioral therapy, liberation health, feminist, and multicultural theories. I am also an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Levels 1 and 2 graduate. My training in working with dyads is built upon Intimacy from the Inside Out. In working with clients I strive to address the personal, institutional, and cultural factors that might be affecting a client’s presentation.
