About My Clients
Are you struggling to make sense of it all? You’ve always been able to figure things out—breaking down complex situations, staying level-headed when emotions run high, finding creative solutions no matter the challenge. But this time, nothing is working. You’ve tried everything— focusing on what you can control, breathing exercises, and reminding yourself of how things could be worse. Yet you’re still caught in the whirlwind of physical tension, racing thoughts, and despair. It’s exhausting.
My Background and Approach
Pain can change everything. It can make the world feel unrecognizable, even cruel. And while many people learn to cope and continue to function in spite of their pain, my goal isn’t just to help you get by—it’s to help you reconnect with life in a way that feels meaningful again. At the heart of my work is an unshakable belief in our ability to heal and find our way forward—not by leaving the pain of our past behind, but by changing the way we carry it so it no longer weighs us down. I can’t take your pain away, but I can walk with you through it, teaching you how to be with it without being overwhelmed by it. I’m an Internal Family Systems level 1 trained therapist. I use IFS to guide you in exploring and connecting with the various parts of yourself shaped by your life experiences. This approach is deeply experiential, relational, and non-pathologizing. It draws from several other modalities to create a holistic healing experience, attuned to the unique needs of each part of you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an IFS therapy client myself, I understand the deep commitment this work requires—time, resources, trust, and vulnerability. I respect the effort it takes to show up and engage, and I hold that commitment with care. I strive to create an inclusive space that is queer-affirming, anti-racist, and neurodivergent-friendly, while also acknowledging that affirmation alone isn’t enough. Your identities shape your reality, and therapy should honor both your personal experiences and the broader systems that impact you. Just as I invite you to bring your whole self to therapy, I do the same. I come to this work as a therapist, but also as a white, cisgender woman, mother, and wife. I believe therapy should be real—honest about both shared and differing experiences. While I won’t pretend to know what I haven’t lived, I will always listen, learn, and hold space for your complexities. I value transparency, direct insight, and creating an authentic, human connection where you can be yourself.
