About My Clients
I work with those who are going through grief and loss, particularly child loss, and those who need healing from trauma. I work to create a sense of belonging and safety in their bodies, psyches, and lives. I work to help build a framework for these experiences, and to provide support and understnading in times many people feel isolated and alone in. I welcome nuerodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients. I also welcome medical providers.
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institude of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where I joined a wonderful cohort exploring our own backgrounds, strengths and challenges, creating a deep and tuned in experience as therapists. I am certified in Brainspotting, a deep brain technique that helps calm and regulate the nervous system. I also offer the Safe and Soun Protocol, a listening therapy that also helps calm the brain. I had internships at Social Advocates for Youth, Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic and Lani Lee, LMFT, learning somatic and transpersonal approaches. I listen deeply and carefully to clients, sometimes working with dreams or related symbols to help further our understanding. I work with Psychodynamics, Depth, Gestalt, Mindfulness, and parts work. I meet weekly with a group with Francis Weller in which we explore grief and Soul and the important and challenging places life brings us.
