About My Clients

There is so much pain in this world, and sometimes it feels like too much to bear. Maybe you already know you aren't the only one who feels that way, but it can still feel isolating and anxiety producing. Life is full of challenges, but you don't have to suffer. Beginning therapy can ease some of these challenges and give you the tools to recognize your strengths and get on a path to increased balance and wellness. I look forward to talking about how we might take that journey together.

My Background and Approach

My experience has included 7 years of providing trauma informed care in community mental health clinics, Housing First programs, drug and alcohol treatment settings, and schools. I invite those I work with to welcome a spirit of radical acceptance, self compassion, and respect for your own inner healing intelligence. My approach is to honor you as the expert in your own life and view our work together as collaborative and centered around your particular goals. I draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, LGBTQ+ affirming, feminist, anti-racist and Trauma Informed treatment frameworks. I am experienced in working with trauma, childhood abuse, mood disorders, and PTSD.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
