About My Clients

I don't want you to have to navigate pain, relational issues, parent/child dynamics, and broken systems alone. Loneliness is a part of our existence, but you are not alone. My Background and Approach
Relational Life Therapy with Terry Real is how I approach relationship issues. I am trained in solutions-focused and narrative therapy. I run groups at a treatment center, where I see anyone who identifies as a woman, dealing with issues like high-trauma, conflict, communications, and we do a lot of artistic expression - drawing, writing, and song. The clients who find me can rely on a consistent, warm, non-judgmental approach, where the therapeutic relationship is the highest value. If you like to laugh and see the value of humor and tears in the therapy room, we are likely a match. Consistent and deep work are essential on the way to change. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the next generation is the future, and will die on that hill. I am hopeful for the future because of the young adults in this country. The causes I align myself with are LGBTQ+ inclusion and advocacy, suicide prevention through trauma-work, artist care and musician care through my non-profit for artists. I have a general ideal that all people are valuable and worthy of the best care. I am the hetero and white side of more than a decade long interracial marriage with a hetero latino drummer. We have young kids, and an artist perspective-lifestyle. I have never felt I fit in, and that is the type of client that finds me, and it is a pleasure to explore possibilities with neurodiverse populations.
