I enjoy providing support to individuals and couples and have experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, stress management, coping skills, and professional burnout. I particularly enjoy and have experience supporting other helping professionals in all of these areas.
My Background and Approach
Although I have been a therapist for over 20 years, my journey to become a therapist began in 6th grade when I read my first Sigmund Freud book. No worries, my approach has since evolved. I am guided by best practices and practical approaches that are unique and individualized. I appreciate the influence of positive psychology, the use of humor, and gratitude along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, EMDR, and other psychological approaches.
