About My Clients
are there areas of your life that feel unfinished or incomplete? Are you struggling with past experiences that affect you in your present life? Maybe you’ve lost sight of who you are and who you want to be? Maybe your true self is having a hard time shining through your anxiousness, depression, grief, and fears? Humanistic practices can open us up to experiential moments in therapy, helping us to identify internal feeling and messages we tell ourselves and provide space to shine again.
My Background and Approach
My hope for you when you enter my counseling room is that you feel presence, safety, challenged, and comforted. It’s incredibly challenging opening up our souls and emotions to someone new, and I work with my clients to collaborate on every step of our time together to make sure you feel empowered to utilize your sessions that feel true to you and beneficial to you and your growth throughout the therapeutic process. For the past 4 years I have worked to engage myself with humanistic/holistic therapeutic interventions and skills in order to form a true and meaningful connected therapeutic relationship with my clients. In our sessions, I am intentional in how we can check in with each other, create safety in the relationship, explore mutual empathy, and collaborate on your path of healing and exploring.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view counseling as the center of change that promotes healing, comfort, reconciliation, and clarification. I also see how vastly different people are, and honors each individual as the expert of their own life experiences. I believe the main reason we develop mental health issues is because we do not feel centered with who we are as our full authentic selves, creating friction and pain in how we move through the world. No matter what race, religion, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, age, etc you are, I welcome you into my therapeutic space. I am an alli for all.
