With over 10 years of experience working with Domestic Violence survivors from emergency shelter, transitional housing to stable housing, and offering individual therapy, and expressive based and support groups, I have the unique perspective and experience of walking with you through your journey towards gaining an understanding of the experience and healing. I offer evidenced based approaches to address your needs and goals.

With over 10 years of experience working with survivors of Sexual Assault, Sexual Violence, and Sexual abuse from emergency shelter, transitional housing to stable housing, offering individual therapy, expressive based support group, and providing accompaniment to the hospital for exams with the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, I have the unique perspective and experience to collaborate with you on addressing your goals and needs.

I focus on the individual, the systems, and intergenerational experiences impacting the formation of a person's identity. I have worked with adult survivors of the Global Majority ("BIPOC") navigate the intersections of their identities and the impacts. Through exploration, books, expressive based practices, a somatic abolitionism, and cultural understandings we will work towards insight and empowerment.

Trauma often impacts and changes a person's internal and external world. Because of this, multiple therapeutic approaches are used. In this way, impactful trauma therapy addresses the whole self and is how I will navigate this space with you by increasing safety, processing what happened, and shifting to (re)learning about yourself.

Offering body centered therapy addresses parts of the human experience that is outside of what the brain is able to express verbally. Somatic therapy increases body awareness, decreases distress, increases mindfulness, and navigates aspects of a traumatic experience. In (re)connecting with your body, it enhances the brain and body connection and allows for deeper growth and healing.

Is an evidenced based approach that works to keep you in a space of dual awareness using different forms of movement, to help you observe the past and be in the present while looking at a significant life experience, stressor, or trauma. I have exclusively used EMDR with Domestic and Sexual Assault survivors, which allows me to navigate with you the nuances of experience that exist within the relational or complex trauma experiences.
