About My Clients
Lauren works best with clients who are introspective, curious about emotions, and open to exploring the deeper layers of their experiences. Psychodynamic therapy is a great fit for those who feel stuck in recurring patterns, struggle with relationships, or want to understand the unconscious forces shaping thoughts and behaviors. She studied at NYU and NYU Shanghai, and received training at The New School University. She is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and values a diverse clientele.
My Background and Approach
Lauren's clinical interests include trauma, family conflict, relationship dynamics, attachment, depression, anxiety, and identity exploration. Her therapeutic approach is psychodynamic therapy, which recognizes the profound impact our past experiences have on our present thoughts and behaviors. She also likes to include CBT skills when needed along with a strengths-based approach.
