About My Clients
I work with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, or issues women may face. During our initial sessions, we will take time exploring the concerns that are impacting you, to be able to create a collaborative plan to reach your goals. We will work together to get you to the place in life you have hoped for.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in a variety of settings, where I have enhanced and honed in on my skills as a therapist. My therapy approach tends to be very direct and person-centered; where I create a safe space for you to feel you can be your authentic self. We will work collaboratively to develop goals that are catered to your personal needs. My practice is focused on helping a variety of presenting concerns, but anxiety and panic attacks, relationship problems, and women's issues are key areas of expertise. Working with adults in various settings, and with the college student population has helped me hone in on my skillset. I have previously and continue to engage in trainings to help further myself as a clinician.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a strong social justice foundation in my work and my personal life. I believe it is every person’s right to be able to live a content life, free from oppression, discrimination, and violence. I hold space for all identities, with the knowledge that I am the learner of your lived experience; not the expert of your lived experience. I am a strong advocate for women’s bodily autonomy, Black Lives Matter, LGBTQIA+ rights, undocumented individuals rights and safety. I strive to create safety in sessions for the aforementioned groups, as well as all marginalized identities.
