About My Clients
People I see are often unsure about starting therapy. They might minimize their own experiences and struggle to ask for help. They may worry about what others might say if they knew they were in therapy. Whatever the concern, I want you to know—your experiences, struggles, and feelings matter. Whether you feel caught between cultures, if expressing emotions is a challenge, or if you’re feeling weighed down by stress, I offer a space where we can explore what’s going on without judgment.
My Background and Approach
My clinical work includes psychological assessment and interventions focused on general mental health and wellness, mood concerns, ADHD, immigrant experiences, racial/ethnic identity, and somatic concerns. Cultural humility has and always be a guiding principle in all the work that I do. My approach to care is a balance between practice supported by research and recognition of the limits of our existing research while valuing a person-centered holistic approach. While our working relationship is a professional one, I value authenticity and think it is an essential component of a building a good, working relationship. For me, that means humor, sarcasm, and the occasional swearing might be part of our sessions. More importantly, I hope you find that you I hope you find that you are able to be your whole, authentic self in our work together.
