About My Clients
I love working with young adults who are exploring their identities and independence. Common themes include trauma, anxiety deactivation, and exploring past relationships and how they influence current experiences. Our work together supports you to lean into life’s challenges and craft an intentional path forward.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, humanizing, and relational. Your past relationships have helped form your behaviors and experiences, including how you currently interact with others. Together, we’ll explore your relationships to identify themes and ways you can create dynamic shifts. My style isn’t passive; I ask a lot of questions and offer theories for you to consider, inviting disagreement and clarification. We’re in this work together, and I’m invested in providing you with an impactful therapeutic experience. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience working with children, teens, and adults. I’m passionate about improving healthcare within a system that often undervalues the experiences of women, queer folx, and people of color. I am a member of Postpartum Support International, the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and the Monterey Bay Psychological Association, where I serve as Board President.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I stand for compassion and equity. As a sibling, parent, and friend, I am a dedicated queer ally. Therapy can be a valuable part of your holistic plan for overall health and wellness. It’s critical to connect with others and carve out time to attend to your needs. At Santa Cruz Therapy Collective, we offer a judgment-free space where every client can be exactly who they are.
