I offer individual therapy to ages 12 and up to help navigate life stressors, as well as learn how to manage anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and past trauma.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from a multi-theoretical framework, which basically means that I tailor my approach to fit each client's individual needs. I will pull from CBT, DBT, interpersonal psychotherapy, solutions-focused therapy, as well as psychodynamic and narrative approaches. I consider myself a down-to-earth therapist, and believe that in order to help you explore and accept all the genuine and authentic parts of yourself, it is important for me to also bring my own authentic self to the table. How "successful" therapy feels for an individual relies not only on the skill of the therapist, but also on the strength of the client-therapist relationship. In other words: not every therapist is a good fit for every person. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I take pride in my identity and greatly enjoy working with clients who are allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community, and love working with clients who are still exploring their own identities, coming out, or struggling with gender/sexuality concerns.
