About My Clients
Are you tired of the status quo? Are you desiring change? Are you willing to do the work? I work with adults who are seeking to improve their lives. Many of those I work with have experienced traumas (Big T and little t) and are wanting to become re-empowered to better handle their emotions. Many of those I work with have limiting or destructive negative self beliefs that we get to work on addressing and changing.
My Background and Approach
Over the last 10 years I have worked with children, families, and adults in various settings including school, home, office, and more. I have specific training in working with families as well as working from a systemic perspective (since we don't live in bubbles by ourselves!!) to address a range of concerns. I work from a trauma-focused lens and use trauma-informed techniques to create a safe and comforting environment for my clients. I am EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) certified and use this form of treatment with many clients to alleviate trauma symptoms and improve their quality of life.
