About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I specialize in EMDR, which helps people to recover from PTSD, and helps treat many issues, including anxiety, depression, addictions, and attachment/relationship issues. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and am a certified yoga teacher. I use a great deal of somatic interventions in my work, to more fully process the trauma and decrease physical symptoms associated with the trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and transgender affirming psychologist. I am aware of intersecting forms of discrimination and I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone I work with. I understand the importance of addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities and enjoy working with people from multicultural backgrounds.
