About My Clients
I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, stress, anxiety, overwhelm, depression and relationship issues, representing diverse backgrounds and identities. I have specialized training to treat those struggling with grief and loss, trauma/PTSD, and compassion fatigue/burnout (particularly first responders and health care workers).
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is empathic, collaborative, and strengths-based; I aim to provide a balance of support and challenge to help you meet your goals. As an integrative therapist, I pull from different waves of cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, and acceptance-based therapies, and use relational and skills-based approaches tailored to the individual. I will take the time to understand your needs, and we will work together to develop an individualized plan, backed by scientific evidence. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. My education and training has prepared me to work with a wide range of individuals with diverse backgrounds and identities, and I have experience across treatment settings and levels of acuity.
