My practice encompasses a wide range of people. My main areas of focus include the queer community, entertainment industry professionals, performers, artists, and couples of all types (gay, straight, polyamorous, etc). I work with a wide range of people with different types of presenting problems, races, and sexual and gender identities. I tailor my approach to each client's needs. I have a particular interest in working with young professionals, small business owners, CEOs etc
My Background and Approach
I am a highly engaged therapist who will challenge you in session to become more attuned to yourself. I deeply believe in empowerment and helping clients cultivate a solid sense of self and self-worth. I believe everyone deserves to have a chance at better understanding themselves in a world that can be deeply judgmental, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist etc. The impositions that society places on us can produce self-loathing, low self-confidence and a general feeling of unworthiness. This, in turn, forces us to put pressure on ourselves to be a version of ourselves that is inauthentic which keeps us in the cycle of self-hate. I am very passionate about breaking this cycle. I find great value and reward in helping people connect with their truest selves so they can flourish and find self-compassion within themselves.
