About My Clients
I tend to work with folks seeking support around life changes, anxiety, depression, relational changes, body image distress, identity exploration and self discovery. As a creative arts therapist, I strive for therapy sessions to feel dynamic and connecting. I prioritize meeting my clients where they are at, while making space for what they want to move toward. It's important my clients know that all the different parts of their lives are welcome and bring value to our work together.
My Background and Approach
Through my experiences as an artist and art therapist, I have learned to view therapeutic work as something that is alive; it moves, changes and grows. I advocate for the therapeutic relationship to be collaborative and nurturing. In my approach I tend to use art therapy, internal family systems, supportive therapy, somatic awareness and mindfulness as interventions. I am a licensed psychotherapist and credentialed art therapy supervisor with over 7 years of experience integrating a wide-range of modalities into my work with individuals and groups with different backgrounds and across the lifespan. It can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to seeking support for therapy. I firmly believe that every individual is equipped with the ability to heal and find wholeness. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their unique journeys of self-discovery.
