There are many reasons people seek therapy. Working with a therapist does not mean there is something "wrong" with you or you're "broken." I approach our work together with genuine respect and care for you as a unique individual. I will not have all the answers, but we will work together to uncover them. The goal will be to empower you to develop self-acceptance. I have experience working with individuals who have concerns with substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, LGBTQ+, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
Depending on what you want to get out of therapy, I will support and guide you to have confidence in navigating difficult situations. I aim to help you accept and love all parts of yourself exactly as you are. Then from there, we'll work together to find areas that you'd like to improve. Establishing a good rapport and ensuring you're feeling safe to be vulnerable is a priority. I try to incorporate different techniques and approaches that best fit your needs.
