My Background and Approach
First and foremost, I believe relationships are healing. I primarily apply an Attachment lens to understand and help you navigate issues that arise. The therapeutic relationship fosters the opportunity to work through unresolved issues and emotional sensitivities. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy. These are excellent tools-based therapies that help us deconstruct irrational thoughts, create behavior change, and become more attuned to bodily reactions. My clients leave sessions feeling confident and prepared to navigate their world. With couples, I primarily use the Gottman Method. This evidence-based therapy provides effective tools for improving communication, enhancing intimacy, and ensuring a solid friendship in the relationship. Couples leave sessions with more clarity and stronger bonds. By combining my personal style and evidence-based techniques, I am able to help clients achieve goals and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
