My Background and Approach
For more than a decade I've worked with survivors of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, relationship violence, and other trauma. I also have both lived and professional experience with neurodivergence. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can help them make sense of their past and present experiences, and achieve lasting change. Together we'll get curious and peel back the layers to help you find peace and create the life you want to have. Our work together will be tailored specifically to you, and we'll be mindful to go at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I advocate for equity and operate from an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework. I'm queer-affirming, trans-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming. Your participation and input are vital parts of our work together. I won’t tell you what to do, but will help you clarify your goals, values and options, so you feel confident in your decisions. I’ll support your ability to intentionally build a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling. As an experienced trauma therapist, and someone with both professional and lived experience with neurodivergence, I believe that healing and transformation are possible.
