About My Clients
I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop healthier coping methods. I also help people identify and address underlying issues that may be contributing to their mental health struggles. This can build stronger relationships, improve communication skills, and increase self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to children and adults in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. I started practicing psychotherapy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. During my time there, I was trained in helping both children and adults build coping skills to be able to help themselves through life's many unique challenges. I recently graduated from the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago where I earned a PhD with a specialty in Psychodynamic therapy. This therapy helps children and adults process and create meaning from past life events within a safe, therapeutic relationship. I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to develop healthier ways of coping. I also help people identify and address underlying issues that may be contributing to their mental health struggles. This can build stronger relationships, improve communication skills, and increase self-esteem.
