Hate therapy? I get it. If you’d rather spend your time and money not sifting through your problems, I don’t blame you. But, if you are missing out on a sense of peace or feel like you'll burst if something doesn't change soon, then it’s worth it to invest in yourself through counseling. I'm committed to not pathologizing people (you are not broken), but some of the concerns I work with the most are: men’s issues, relationship concerns, substance use disorders, self esteem and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is client-centered. I tailor treatment to your needs, and focus on measurable success through the use of evidence based models. I know what it's like to suffer and to start to see the light. You can, too. While I adhere to a therapeutic structure, you'll find me casual and making use of humor- no one wants to talk to a robot. It’s easier together. Formal psychotherapy pairs well with a less rigid, unpretentious environment and I strive to create that space for you. People say I'm really easy to talk to & I bring this spirit to our relationship to make you feel comfortable sorting through some of those tough bits of life from the start.
