Biofeedback is a technique used to gain awareness of involuntary physiological functions (such as your heart rate, blood pressure or skin temperature), with a goal of being able to manipulate them at will. The idea behind biofeedback is that if you use the power of your mind and to become aware of what's going on inside your body, you can gain more control over your health.
