Just like any other group, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) community faces mental health issues and unique challenges. However, LGBTQ individuals are almost 3 times more likely than others to experience a mental health condition, such as depression or anxiety. Additionally, more than half of individuals who identify as transgender experience depression or anxiety. The LGBTQ community is also at a higher risk for suicide. Young people are even more at risk, as they may experience a lack of support at home and fear, hatred or prejudice in school. If you are a member of the LGBTQ community and are facing mental health challenges, you don’t have to suffer in silence. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s LGBTQ experts and get help today.
We specialize in working with people who struggle with anxiety, OCD, self-esteem, and relationships. We help clients navigate challenging emotions, build confidence, and communicate openly, creating a supportive space for growth and healing.

I specialize in supporting transgender and gender non-conforming people, polyamorous and non-monogamous folks, and those interested in kink and BDSM. I help people with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, gender and sexuality, sex and eroticism, interpersonal dysfunction, intrusive thoughts, body image, spirituality and religious trauma, life changes and transitions, and the shame and blame that linger from the past.

Have you ever been told that you're the "Black sheep" of the community or your family, "Whitewashed", "Too South Asian", or "Not Brown enough"? Maybe you feel like you don't belong in your community, but you belong right here! As someone who was raised Indian and Catholic, I've also been called these things too. Sometimes it makes us feel isolated, and we withdraw from the world. It doesn't have to be that way!

I blend a variety of therapeutic techniques—EMDR, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy—with a touch of humor— to create a dynamic, personalized approach to healing. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" solution, so collaborating with my clients to find what tools and strategies work best for each person is important to me. At the end of the day, you are the master of your own experience!
My previous work involved facilitating group therapy on various populations, including those with symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, trauma, etc. I specialized in providing CBT, DBT, stress management, self-esteem, and a wide range of groups to meet the needs of my patients.
With 6+ years of experience, I have worked in a school setting and in private practice supporting clients individually and within groups. I have worked with clients to explore their identity, sexuality, strengths, self-esteem, environmental stressors, and interpersonal relationships, helping them to develop healthy boundaries and coping skills to use throughout their life’s many transitions.

I value being able to work with my clients throughout there therapeutic journey. I find it important that clients are able to grow and learn about themselves. When clients are able to get to know themselves they are able to get a better understanding of their emotions, behaviors and thoughts. My goals is to empower each client I work with. Our mind is extremely powerful and instead of it taking over your capabilities I want to work with to gain back control of yourself.
I have worked with BIPOC and sexually/gender diverse individuals navigating trauma, self-esteem/identity issues, relationship/family conflict, depression/anxiety, polyamory, and culture-specific challenges. I am passionate about working with individuals from historically marginalized communities as a South Asian LGBTQ+ immigrant woman myself.
I have clinical experience using a cultural, and trauma informed perspective to individualize treatment for my clients. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, eating disorders/body image issues, OCD, relationship issues, ASD, ADHD, self-esteem, and sex and intimacy issues. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and LGBTQ+ individuals.
