Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a traumatic, scary or dangerous event. PTSD can be caused by either witnessing or experiencing the trauma. Events that sometimes trigger PTSD include everything from sexual assault, war, and violence, to car accidents or other incidents that could cause loss of life. It is not at all uncommon for people who go through something traumatic to have temporary difficulty coping and acute symptoms, but with time, they usually get better. However, if the symptoms last longer than a month, get worse rather than better and affect your ability to function, you may be suffering from PTSD. Symptoms of PTSD may include severe anxiety, anger, nightmares, trouble sleeping, flashbacks to the event, frightening thoughts, avoidance of situations or places, feeling on edge and/or being easily startled. If you think you may be experiencing PTSD, reach out to one of TherapyDen’s specialists today to get help.

I've been privileged to work with people of all ages, ranging from young adults to senior citizens, living with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use recovery, relationship & identity issues, and adjustment to chronic medical conditions. Additionally, I've had experience working with vulnerable populations impacted by the criminal justice system.
With 6+ years of experience, I have worked in a school setting and in private practice supporting clients individually and within groups. I have worked with clients to explore their identity, sexuality, strengths, self-esteem, environmental stressors, and interpersonal relationships, helping them to develop healthy boundaries and coping skills to use throughout their life’s many transitions.
My goal for you is to become your most authentic self–intentional, empathetic, vibrant, and engaged with the world. For me healing is about ongoing evolution, reconnecting with yourself, finding inner peace, and feeling whole and worthy as you are. In our work together I will support you in reclaiming all parts of yourself with compassion. Sessions may involve discussion, guided movement, body exploration, meditation, breath work, writing, or art creation.

If you are a therapist, healer, space holder, caregiver, or activist experiencing burnout, I am offering a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy group in May that might be helpful to consider! laurafoxx.com/heal

Jeanie loves working with individuals who are drawn to deep inner exploration—spiritual seekers, creatives, and those on a healing journey who are ready to engage with psychedelic-assisted therapy as a tool for transformation. She especially enjoys supporting those who are integrating mystical experiences, seeking meaning in life transitions, or working through trauma with the aid of non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Most of my clients wish they could have a life with more joy, more fulfillment, or more abundance. They want to feel greater satisfaction in their relationships, career, or sense of self…but oftentimes, they don’t know where to start. I typically work with people who are looking to develop greater self-acceptance, learn better coping skills, and develop healthier relationship dynamics in order to find a greater sense of satisfaction in life. If this sounds familiar, know that you’re not alone.

Often, my clients repeat old and familiar ways of doing things despite winding up with the same troubling consequences: dating the same type of unavailable partner, burdened by the same feelings of self consciousness or sadness, feeling the same “freeze” or shut down response during conflict, or having the same fight with family members or spouse. My clients are good at working hard, but sometimes end up stuck, burnt out, or on a path anywhere from “something feels off” to "I need help now."

I specialize in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. However, my approach is not a one size fits all formula. I tailor my work to the individual and their specific needs. I am especially moved to work with clients who are navigating major life transitions and are aware of the need for additional support to thrive amidst the changes.
I work with young adults and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, issues related to drugs or alcohol, and those recovering and healing from trauma.
