Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. I work with women and helping professionals (teachers, medical providers, therapists, and faith leaders) on burnout prevention and recovery and on resilience building. Working with people as a nurturer or helper is particularly demanding, and our own trauma shows up in this work daily. Our own healing is an essential part of our capacity to do this work long-term.

Misty Watkins

PTSD/Trauma, LGBTQ+, Neurodiverse, People with Disabilities/Chronic Illness, Trans, non-binary, gender fluid, Veterans, Poly, Kink / BDSM, and many other clients from diverse backgrounds. I have family members that are LGBTQ+ and I am a former military dependent both as a child and spouse. It is important to me to provider services to both communities.
