Welcome! I'm Frankie Wanger, and I'm here to help you work through lifeās challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions. Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but donāt know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

You deserve someone who sees YOU, empathizes with your experiences, and works collaboratively to help you overcome your emotional burdens. I specialize in working with the āroadblocksā to wellness, typically resulting from experiences of traumatic stress. Those "stuck" emotions, thoughts, feelings, sensations are engrained in our system, prompting maladaptive responses that interfere with our day-to-day experiences and overall quality of life.
I am passionate about working with Black men; however, I also have a strong passion for working with survivors of sexual violence, adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and kink-friendly couples. I enjoy helping clients with understanding their sexual expression, learning more about consent and setting boundaries, and improving intimacy within their relationships.
I work with neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals facing challenges such as substance (mis)use, BPD, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, OCD, and life transitions. Iāll walk with you through your therapy journey, supporting you through tough moments and celebrating your growth and clarity, while tailoring sessions to your unique needs and goals.
