About My Clients

Living with a marginalized identity means becoming familiar with the space in-between. If it feels like you’re stuck in a never-ending rough patch, I’m here to help. I specialize in millennial/Gen Z, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and/or neurodiverse folks navigating trauma, relationships & life transitions, as well as couples looking to improve communication and intimacy. I also have a special interest in working w/ creatives & enjoy incorporating expressive arts like photography, music & writing into my work

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is as eclectic and diverse as my clientele. I operate from an integrative, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed and strength-based lens, to help you unpack your story, explore your parts and ease pain. In your first sessions, we'll explore your concerns and decide on the most appropriate ways to help you process your past, enjoy your present and clarify your future. Typically, we'll use a blend of CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy and IFS during our time together to help you reach your goals. I also have a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy and love weaving together art-making, spirituality, storytelling, rituals and somatic work within traditional clinical frameworks to support your holistic wellness & self-care. My overall mission is not just to hold space, but to also provide tools to help you make sense of the gray areas & live the life you truly want.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At our core, I believe we are all deeply creative, intuitive and courageous beings, yet over time, the impact of various personal experiences, social/political dynamics & biological/physiological processes slowly start to take their toll, leaving us feeling stuck, stifled and disconnected. The exhaustion is real, but so is the opportunity for incredible healing and connection. My work honors your unique, individual experiences by recognizing all the systems that you are up against & leveraging the healing powers of art, community and humor to help you process big emotions, facilitate deeper self-awareness, strengthen your relationships and navigate life’s transitions in creative, holistic ways. Whether that’s physically engaging in art-making during our sessions or simply exploring new, creative ways of thinking, being and doing - together, we’ll find the tools to help you make sense of the gray areas and recognize the unique beauty and strength of all your parts and pieces.
